At AutoReserve, we charge a reservation fee for reservations made by overseas customers.
The fee amount varies depending on factors such as the price range, busy or off-peak days/times, and the customer’s country of residence.
※This is similar to the fluctuation of hotel accommodation fees or airline ticket prices.
Rules for When Reservation Fees Apply
※The amounts provided are "examples," and actual fees may vary depending on conditions.
1. Example of Fee Calculation
・For a reservation with 10 people and a 500 JPY fee per person:
・Fee: 500 JPY × 10 people = 5,000 JPY
・The customer pays this reservation fee directly to AutoReserve via credit card at the time of reservation success.
2. Fees apply only when the reservation is successful.
・In the case of reservation request method, the reservation fee will not be charged at the time of the request.
・The reservation fee will only be charged once the reservation is successfully confirmed.
・Since the credit card authorization is held at the time of reservation success, it may appear as if a charge has been made on the credit card. For more details, please refer to [here].
3. Non-refundable
・The reservation fee is charged at the time of reservation success.
・The fee will not be refunded even if the reservation is canceled due to the customer's reasons.
Payment Information
At the time of reservation success, a credit card authorization is placed for both the reservation fee and the course fee, which may make it appear as though a charge has been made on the credit card.
This authorization hold is for securing the cancellation fee (if a cancellation fee is set), and does not represent the completion of payment for the course fee.
Please ensure that the dining charges and course fees are paid directly at the restaurant on the day of the reservation.
The reservation fee is paid directly to AutoReserve by the customer.

How to Identify Overseas Reservations
For domestic reservations, only the customer’s information is displayed. However, for overseas reservations, the reservation details screen will show two sets of customer information:
1. Top Section
・Customer Name: Displayed in Hiragana
・Phone Number: AutoReserve support phone number
2. Bottom Section
・Customer Name: Displayed in English
・Phone Number: Customer’s international phone number
Why Are There Two Phone Numbers Listed?
To reduce the cost and language barriers of making direct calls to overseas customers, AutoReserve support staff may assist with communication between the customer and the restaurant, if necessary.
If you find it difficult to communicate with an overseas customer, please use the support phone number provided in the reservation details.
